I'm not too thrilled with this one, but they can't all be fabulous, can they? The eagle in the sky wasn't s'posed to be there, but morphed out of a drip of dark grey paint that happened at the very last moment. I had fun doing the wet-in-wet washes for sky and water.

- Nova Scotia, Canada
- I am a stay at home mom and artist living on a remote island off Nova Scotia. I like to work in a variety of media and on a wide variety of subjects. I am influenced by the sea, the rugged landscape around me, and the beauty of everyday objects. Art has been on the back burner for me for a few years now, while my children were very small. Now that they're getting bigger, I'm trying to put real effort into making art a priority again. I am challenging myself to make art every day, even if it's just a simple sketch. well monica, you amazed me again,,,what an artistic mind you have...i love the art work on the beach rock...it looks so cool...look forward to checking your site every week to see what is new that you are working on....miss ya all, and look forward to seeing you guys at megan's baby shower....take care, and keep up the good work....
I think this one is very nice. I like the colors you used.
